Finally sussed out the inconsistant feed on my Sterling---which backs up my theory that it has never fed properly since it was made, the mag feed is / was slightly out of line with the mag.
sanded stained and waxed my Mp44 stock.

Took my dad to Bovington. It's had quite a makeover, but the new section where they have moved a selection of tanks into was not properly open, which was rather irritating. I didn't get to see the Panther, Tiger or Pzkpfw III. On the other hand, they now have TWO (count 'em) King Tigers!
